At the request of the director of ISU Career Services, I created an informational card to advertise the department's services to students and employers. The client's specifications required the inclusion of the department's catchphrase-"Your Future Starts Here," on the front of the card, with contact and social media information on the back with the purpose of increasing visibility and outreach. I focused on creating an air of professionalism through a clean and simplistic composition in this design so that busy students could quickly and easily understand the purpose and benefits of engaging with the department. I also applied a grid system across this piece to create a visual hierarchy to draw attention to certain parts of information, such as social media, to aid the department in its efforts to increase student engagement.
